Job Description

Job Description
  • Conduct technical testwork (Flotation microflotation and flocculation)
  • Adhering to project time frame conducting technical testwork reagents preparation & sample preparation
  • Writing scope of work for all the technical testwork
  • Populating the results of the technical testwork and writing the technical report after each completed project
  • Generating of purchase requisition (PR) on SAP
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including sales and R&D to support product development
  • Housekeeping and adhering to SHEQ policies & standard operating procedures


Qualifications & Experience
  • Matric / Grade 12 (with Maths and Science)
  • National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy (required)
  • BTech/BSc Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy (advantageous)
  • Minimum 2 to 3 year experience in Metallurgical Laboratory
  • Metallurgical competency
  • Indepth understanding of flotation principles techniques and reagent roles with knowledge in optimizing flotation reagents (collectors frothers depressants flocculants)
  • Knowledge of laboratory and onsite testing procedures and ability to analyse and interpret data from flotation test work
