Job Description Summary
We are looking for a research technician with histology experience who will participate in an Alzheimers diseaserelated research project. A successful candidate will assist with imaging image quantification and analyze and present data. Candidate will need to be methodical when carrying out duties and generate reports to submit to the relevant laboratory managers/PI.
Responsibilities
Under PI (Principal Investigator)s supervision: Histology confocal microscopy mouse behavior analysis data analysis and presentation. Assist with mouse studies Helps with lab ordering and maintenance. Able to perform laboratory experiments in line with standard testing procedures. Be able to work individually and with a scientific team. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience working as a lab technician Bachelors Degree in biology chemistry or a related field Proficient in research methods testing and data collection analysis evaluation report writing independent discretion and judgment Comfortable handling potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids biohazards etc.) Ability to work autonomously and in a timely manner to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skill
