Staff Development Coordinator

Reporting to the Program Director of ABH and Assistant Director of ABH the Clinical Specialist provides clinical supervision assistance and consultation to the Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) throughout the Adult Behavioral Health Division. Activities include staff training and monitoring of the provision of treatment in order to assure that all QMHP services and related documentation meet or exceed current federal state and local requirements. The Clinical Specialist assesses the need for staff training designs and provides training for all QMHP staff under the guidance of the Clinical Supervisors. This training is a dynamic and interactive event that provides staff with guidance information materials and resources to continually improve the services provided to consumers of service.
Minimum qualifications Bachelors Degree in Health or Human Services
Acceptable Degrees Include:Applied Behavior Analysis Behavioral Services field Communication Disorders Criminal Justice Counseling Education Family Studies Gerontology Educational Psychology Health Services Human Services field Human Growth and Development Medicine Nursing Physician Assistant Psychology Rehabilitation Social Services field Social Work Sociology and Special Education
Experience: 1 year
License/Certifications: Valid Texas drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
Eligible to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHPCS) certification.
Must provide license (if applicable) and official documentation of all educational attainment i.e. Transcript/Degree/Certificate
