Job Description

VersaDesk is seeking a handson resultsdriven Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead and align our Sales and Marketing teams with a singular focus: accelerated growth. This critical executive role reports directly to the CEO and will serve as a key strategic partner in shaping the companys direction and revenue trajectory.

The CRO will be responsible for driving performance across four core revenue areas: 3P Marketplaces DTC eCommerce Sales via our website Affiliate and Influencer Sales and Digital Marketing Campaigns. This role demands a leader who is fluent in todays digital landscape from performance marketing and social media strategy to conversion rate optimization and marketing automation. Youll need a deep understanding of how to deploy cuttingedge technology to capture demand increase customer engagement and optimize each step of the customer journey.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue growth strategy aligned with the companys overall goals.
  • Lead mentor and scale the Sales and Marketing teams with a culture of accountability innovation and performance.
  • Build datadriven marketing funnels that utilize modern digital tools such as paid social Google Ads affiliate platforms and retargeting.
  • Maximize performance on 3P marketplaces through strategic advertising content optimization and relationship management.
  • Own the roadmap for our eCommerce site () driving traffic growth user experience enhancements and conversion improvements.
  • Drive demand generation initiatives digital marketing performance and outbound/inbound sales effectiveness.
  • Expand our affiliate and influencer marketing strategy to create a powerful revenuegenerating ecosystem.
  • Establish and track KPIs dashboards and analytics to monitor progress and continuously optimize performance.
  • Partner with the CEO on strategic planning market positioning product launches and revenue forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Product Operations and Customer Success to deliver a seamless customer experience and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Oversee brand development and ensure consistent compelling messaging across all platforms.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Finance or related field.
  • 8 years of experience in a senior sales or marketing leadership role with at least 3 years owning fullfunnel revenue performance.
  • Demonstrated success scaling revenue in a productbased B2B and/or DTC environment.
  • Expertise in digital marketing including paid social search affiliate email and retargeting strategies.
  • Strong understanding of 3P marketplaces and how to drive sales through platformspecific best practices and technologies.
  • Handson experience with tools like Shopify (or similar) Klaviyo Meta Ads Manager Google Analytics Amazon Seller Central and affiliate platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing CRM platforms analytics tools and modern sales strategies.
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced handson environment youre as willing to build the strategy as you are to jump in and execute.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
  • Industry experience in furniture manufacturing or workplace products is a plus but not required.
