Job Description
Our client in Uniontown PA is searching for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join their team.
Job Description & Duties:
Plan design and oversee projects related to site layout erosion & sedimentation control storm water management water & sewage systems roadway design and structural design.
Maintain direct contact with clients and potential clients involving engineering services.
Perform office calculations and drafting as time allows.
Perform random site visits and check in with field crew(s) and site foreman.
Discuss and/or inform the company President current job status discrepancies problems potential problems and daily duties.
Conduct job meetings and document product progress.
Prepare planning zoning and permit application packages.
Prepare and review development plan sets design specifications and bid documents.
Perform traffic studies to identify potential impacts of projects.
Prepare cost estimates to determine project feasibility.
Coordinate with utility companies for service connections and relocations.
Coordinate with clients and governmental agencies during the planning and design process of projects.
Construction engineering including site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance with design specifications coordination between the contractor and developer review and approve shop drawings to ensure conformance with design specifications and review payment applications.
Provide technical advice regarding design construction and structural repairs to other employees to provide a sound engineering design.
Identify the developmental needs of others and while coaching mentoring or otherwise helping other employees.
Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering Field preferably Civil Engineering
Must be willing and able to work in office or field full time
Ability to travel to work sites as needed
Proficient with CAD software and able to design and oversee projects (AutoCAD Civil 3D Revit)
