Team Perio is growing and we are looking for awesome people to join our team. Our practices are owned by one doctor and managed with a team of people united by the goal of helping as many patients as possible experience dental surgery in a positive way . Responsibilities of Surgical Assistant
Prepare the operatory and equipment
Greet and escort patients to and from the treatment room
Prepare the patient for surgery or examination
Maintain awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients
Record treatment information in the patients chart
Assist the doctor by passing instruments aspirating intraoral fluids taking photographs
Take radiographs as directed by the doctor
Provide postoperative care to patients as directed by doctor
Communicate with other essential team members to coordinate patient flow and comfort
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements of Surgical Assistant
CPR & first aid certificate
Valid Xray certificate
Sustained positivity and energy throughout the day
Communicates clearly with patients and all team members
Attention to detail
Professionalism
Compensation and Benefits
Wage: $2128 per hour DOE
90Day Review and wage assessment with potential of increase
36 hour work week
4 days a week at 9 hours
Health Insurance Benefit at 30 days all other benefits eligible after 90day probation
40 hours Vacation (Accrued Annually) doubles at year 3 of service
3 paid sick days per year
5 paid holidays
