We are currently looking to fill the position of Enrolment Services Representative to join our Enrolment Services team.

Job Information and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director Service Centre the Enrolment Services Representative will:

  • Respond to inquiries and offer guidance as requested by students members of the university community and the general public to provide onestop quality service and accurate information in the broad areas of admissions registration financial assistance (scholarships and loans) academic policies and procedures and other areas.
  • Assist with maintaining each students academic and financial record.
  • Collect and receipt all forms of payment involves dealing with money currency conversion invoicing for sponsored / funded students monitoring and tracking exceptional payment arrangements efforts to collect overdue accounts and assists students / others in their understanding of how to pay how to access funding resources and what to do in emergency funding situations.
  • Be the first point of contact for new students and has an atmosphere of effective efficient friendly and reliable service with a focus on enhancing customer service by using a high level of problemsolving skills.
  • Processes transcripts and Confirmation of Enrolment letters on demand and in batch.
  • Processes and receipts all forms of student payments and adjustments.
  • Prepares detailed invoices for students who are sponsored from outside organizations (domestic and international) and governments (federal and provincial) to initiate payment. Provides follow up regarding invoices interest relief monitoring adjustments and clarifications to sponsors.
  • Receives and processes requests for refunds and analyses accounts to determine how and when refunds should be issued.

Experience and Education Requirements

To be the successful Enrolment Services Representative you will have:

  • High school plus 2 years of university or 2year Diploma in Administration and/or Business.
  • Minimum two years related experience.
  • Proven familiarity with MS Office including Windows Word and Excel.
  • Proven time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Work experience in an academic environment considered an asset.
  • Experience in Banner considered an asset.
