Who we are looking for:

Slate is looking for aHead of Software Development with a visionary approach to lead our software development in the electric vehicle space. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital you will focus on defining and building our digital customer experience. You must be able to thrive and succeed in a fastpaced startup environment where your contributions have a direct impact on the companys direction and success and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This is a high visibility high impact role that will interact with all levels of leadership across Slate.

What you bring to the team:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years of planning designing developing and delivering consumer software experiences.
• 10 years of experience in fullstack mobile development Android / iOS or modern web browsers and services mainly in Java in a Linux or Unix environment.
• 10 years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• 7 years of engineering team management experience.
• Experience partnering with UX product and program management teams.
• Experience leading architects and full stack development teams that support consumerfacing global web solutions.
• Experience delivering customerdriven software products at a high scale in a fast paced technology first rapidgrowth company.

US Nationwide Base Salary Range $160000 to $309000

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Slate reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors including an applicants years of experience unique skills and abilities education alignment with similar internal candidates marketplace factors other requirements for the position and employer business practices. In addition to base pay Slate also offers shortterm and longterm incentive programs 401k match annual bonus and company equity based on eligibility along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans HSA / FSA.
