As part of our Manufacturing team youll help build the worldclass stateoftheart smart vehicles were known for. In our plants around the world were constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. Youll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love.

In this position...

The Launch Coordinator will support/coordinate overall process for product launches including ensuring delivery of product key milestones and product content.



Responsibilities

What youll do...

  • Understand and consistently apply standard manufacturing operating systems
  • Support Work Groups for short and long term countermeasures of all abnormalities
  • Validate and bridge operational needs as required to ensure the line is running safely smoothly and producing quality parts
  • Strategic planning and coordination of Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) activities to achieve Safety Quality and Productivity objectives
  • Communication and Recognition
  • Build Team Leader and Team Member capability
  • Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
  • Basic Administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents



Qualifications

Youll have...

High School Diploma

5 years of experience in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)

  • Experience:
    • Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
    • Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety quality and throughput
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills
    • Ability to multitask
    • Strong problemsolving and conflict management skills
  • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal teambuilding and communication skills

Even better you may have...

Automotive experience in a vehicle assembly plant

Prior experience handling a unionized work force

Safety and Quality experience preferred

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Past experience assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms of safety and quality

Strong organizational and administrative skills

Ability to multitask

Strong problemsolving and conflict management skills

Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal teambuilding and communication skills
