Regional Head of Marketing Education
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Head of Marketing Education to drive growth reach impact and profile of our Education work in the Asia Pacific region. In this role you will support the Education team in securing new funding and partnerships by effectively communicating the impact of our work and positioning the British Councils unique role approach and track record to key stakeholders. You will devise strategic insightled campaigns to engage the Education sector with our opportunities paid services research case studies best practices thought leadership and guidance. Additionally you will promote the best of UK creativity and education to new and existing audiences
Accountabilities:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead the planning design and delivery of marketing initiatives for Education in the Asia Pacific region. This role is aligned with corporate goals and supports wider business objectives. The successful candidate will embed an audience led outcome based approach focusing on customer and business goals. This includes managing the development of marketing plans negotiate budgets and resources and ensure effective brand positioning campaign management and digital channel/ content strategies.
A key aspect of the role involves ensuring marketing effectiveness across programmes delivering clear return on investment and providing reporting for internal and external stakeholders. The Marketing Manager will use audience insights and market research to drive impactful strategies ensuring a datadriven approach. Collaboration with Regional Communications teams across media relations external relations and events is essential to maintain a consistent and proactive strategy.
The role requires strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify opportunities for improvement manage internal and external campaign delivery and enhance efficiency in marketing operations. The successful candidate will make recommendations that measurably improve performance including efficiency quality and profitability.
Financial management responsibilities include resource planning for costeffective delivery negotiating marketing resources within contract bids and ensuring effective supplier management. Regular reporting and analysis will be required to improve planning and performance.
Stakeholder management is a crucial part of the role requiring excellent communication skills to build relationships with internal and external customers influence senior stakeholders and support longterm business strategies. The Marketing Manager will actively participate in professional networks and communities to share expertise and enhance knowledge.
Leadership responsibilities include guiding and coordinating the regional Education marketing team ensuring consistency and best practices across the function. The role involves setting annual marketing plans demonstrating return on investment and managing budgets effectively..
