About the Opportunity
Our Micromine Australia team is seeking an experienced Senior Geologist to work in a Technical Presales opportunity to support and grow our geological software business.
Working closely with our business development team you will play a pivotal role in the solutionselling process delivering highimpact technical demonstrations supporting tenders and ensuring customer success during onboarding and implementation. This is a strategic customerfacing role that will give you the opportunity to work with industryleading technology and influence how our clients explore and model their geological data.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with business development managers to identify develop and close opportunities.
- Delivering technical demonstrations and input into proposals and tenders.
- Leading software evaluations and proofofconcept builds.
- Supporting customer success during implementation and training.
- Assisting with campaign events conferences and promotions.
- Contributing to product development through feedback and regional testing.
About You
You are a passionate geologist with a strong technical background and a drive to deliver value to customers. Youre confident presenting technical solutions and enjoy helping others solve complex geological problems.
Your experience and attributes should include:
- A recognised tertiary qualification in earth sciences.
- Senior experience in exploration production or resource geology.
- Proficiency in geological modelling software.
- Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- A passion for technology and continuous improvement.
- Presales or technical consulting experience is highly desirable.
- Experience across Gold and Coal would be highly desirable.
- Some travel will be required.
