Job Duties
This position is wage/hourly and will work MondayFriday during core business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are no state benefits offered with this position. This position is authorized to work for a renewable maximum of 1500 hours per year.
The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) is seeking a motivated individual to serve as an Enrollment Specialist for the Early Intervention Part C program. This position is responsible for entering data enrolling and/or discharging children in the Medicaid Early Intervention Services Program and reviewing and processing recertification applications for early intervention practitioners. These responsibilities are critical to ensuring early intervention providers can be reimbursed by Medicaid and ensuring a qualified early intervention workforce.
Minimum Qualifications
Considerable knowledge skills and experience in managing administrative functions. Ability to work well with individuals and groups and experience in providing customer support. Demonstrated ability to work independently and with limited supervision. Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to research issues compile and analyze information and prepare reports. Demonstrated organizational skills including time management and management of large volumes of information. Demonstrated flexibility quickresponsiveness and ability to manage multiple priorities. Significant experience with word processing MS Excel and data systems.
Additional Considerations
Knowledge of Part C early intervention and/or Medicaid.
