Job Description

Digital Media & Technology TeacherWest Springfield High SchoolWSHS is seeking a dynamic creative and collaborative educator to teach a series of Digital Design and Video Production courses. This position offers students handson experiences in graphic design photo editing and video production using industrystandard tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital media strong technical skills and a desire to engage students in projectbased learning environments that reflect current practices in the design and production Responsibilities: Deliver engaging handson instruction in Digital Design and Video Production Facilitate skillbuilding in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop) and video editing software Support students in collaborative and independent media production projects Develop and maintain a classroom environment that supports creativity inquiry and teamwork Provide timely and meaningful feedback on student work Manage equipment inventory and maintenance for digital media production Participate in professional development and school community activities Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and support school initiativesPreferred Qualifications: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop) and video editing platforms Prior teaching experience in media arts video production or technology education Strong communication organization and classroom management skills Ability to foster a positive inclusive and supportive learning environmentLicense Required: MA DESE Certification in Technology/Engineering (512) and/or Instructional Technology (512)Salary: Per Unit A Contract
