Job Description
Ability to interpret work from technical sketches and floorplans. Ability to perform tasks requiring mechanical aptitude. Care for and use standard tools equipment and testing devices. Ability to lift and move heavy objects and to work under adverse weather conditions. Operate an automobile or pickup truck as required. Ability to work overtime. Ability shovel snow. Ability to climb a ladder or scaffolding. Responds to emergency service calls 24/7 and makes necessary repairs or adjustments. Employees in this classification are designated as essential employees in accordance with Commonwealth Management Directive 530.17. As such the employee is to be present on all scheduled workdays regardless of weather conditions emergency circumstances or other reasons.
