Position Overview

The Test Operator is responsible for conducting a variety of electronic mechanical and electromechanical tests on electronic systems subassemblies and parts to ensure unit functions according to specifications.


US PERSON REQUIREMENT

Due to US Export control laws must be a US Citizen Permanent Resident or have protected status

Responsibilities

  • Reads production schedule work orders test procedures wiring diagrams and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used
  • Tests functional performance of systems subassemblies and parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature change vibration pressure and humidity
  • Connects unit to be tested to test equipment such as signal generator frequency meter oscilloscope or voltmeter
  • Reads dials or digital displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage frequency distortion inductance and capacitance
  • Compares results with specifications and records test data
  • Collaborates with engineers technicians production personnel and others regarding testing procedures and results to resolve problems.
  • Reports problematic test equipment to the appropriate source
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to gather and analyze information to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Able to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance
  • Meets productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner
  • Ability to read and comprehend English
  • General understanding of basic electronics is desirable but not a requirement


If selected to fill this role the candidate will need to submit for a background check and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US.
