Take the lead in crafting integrating and optimizing detailed process plans and schedules that drive project success from start to finish. Your autonomy in developing IMP/IMS models directly from proposals and contracts will shape the future of our initiatives ensuring precision and excellence every step of the way. This is a Hybrid position which can be at either our Marlborough MA Cedar Rapids IA or McKinney TX locations. Expected work on site is approximately 3 days/week. Selected hire must live within a commuting distance of either of the 3 sites. No Relocation provided.

What You Will Do

  • Support scheduling activities for highrisk programs ensuring alignment with contractual objectives
  • Utilize expertise in earned value management and scheduling tools (SAP SSI OnePager Pro Microsoft products) to monitor and report performance and perform month end activities.
  • Resolve complex issues and contribute to the development of scheduling standards and techniques
  • Coordinate integrated master plans and schedules across functional groups to meet program objectives
  • Conduct schedule risk assessments and utilize project management techniques to track progress and identify variances and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Develop IMP/IMS models independently from proposal documents and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Lead training initiatives for program specialists and junior schedulers ensuring proficiency in scheduling practices
  • Contributes to the development of new concepts techniques and standards. Considered an expert in the field within the organization
  • All Statement of Work (SOW) discrete scope is modeled in the IMS. Assist program teams in developing WBS in accordance with MILSTD881
  • Collaborate and establish relationships with VSLs CAMs and Financial Analysts.
  • Understands and complies with requirements in DIMGMT81861B/C DCMA Schedule Assessment Guide and Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards with a focus on compliance and effective resolution of issues
  • Travel up to 10%

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance required on Day 1
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Experience with Microsoft Project

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior government contract experience preferred
  • Understanding of Earned Value Concepts
  • Bachelors degree in an appropriate discipline (Accounting / Finance)

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
