Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in preprimary educational practices and a thorough understanding of ageappropriate learning methods (Mandatory skill).
- Solid grasp of Montessori Methods to foster a developmental approach to education creating an enriching learning environment.
- Strong storytelling skills to captivate young learners and promote engagement and comprehension in early education.
- A deep understanding of Early Childhood Education principles promoting holistic development in cognitive and emotional domains.
- Effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment fostering creativity and curiosity.
- Ability to understand and support Child Development stages tailoring educational experiences to meet individual needs.
- Exceptional communication skills in English facilitating effective interactions with students parents and staff.
- Patience empathy and a nurturing disposition to inspire trust and motivation in young learners enhancing their educational journey.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that stimulates childrens learning and development.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning fostering a sense of belonging and community.
- Facilitate engaging learning experiences using storytelling and interactive methods to encourage curiosity and exploration.
- Monitor and evaluate each childs progress adapting teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Establish effective communication with parents and guardians providing insights into childrens growth and development.
- Ensure effective classroom management by establishing clear rules and routines maintaining a peaceful learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff on planning and implementing special events and activities.
- Stay current with trends and changes in early childhood education and engage in continuous professional development.
