We are looking for a key officer within Legal Services to help us to deliver our ambitions during an exciting time of change.
Deputy Head Of Legal & Deputy Monitoring Officer
As Deputy Head Of Legal & Deputy Monitoring Officer you will assist the Head of Legal Services in providing a timely and high quality legal service. You will also have management responsibility for the lawyers and legal officers within the team and will keep under review the needs and resourcing of the service.
The Deputy Monitoring Officer will be given the opportunity to assist in ensuring high standards of member conduct are upheld as well as helping to ensure the Monitoring Officers role as the Councils Data Protection Officer is carried out effectively.
This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen your legal knowledge over multiple areas interacting with Councillors and Officers across the Council during a time of exciting change. Opportunities like this do not and will not come often so dont miss out in taking the next step!
