Position Title: Coop Student Technology Specialist (Developer)
Reports To: Technology Manager Digital
Department: IT Savings and Retirement
Term: Temporary FullTime Four (4) Month Contract
Work Term: September 2 2025 December 19 2025


Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo ON a minimum of two (2) assigned consecutive days every other week plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

What you will be doing:

• Develop using a wide variety of web applications like .NET framework .NET Core Angular HTML5 CSS3 and other evolving technologies
• Unit test all changes to ensure data integrity performance consistency and functional acceptability
• Participates in the overall systems testing
• Supports the implementation of the application into production
• Complete analysis and specs for moderately complex maintenance enhancement and production related service requests
• Develop wellorganized structured programs based on business requirements
• Document all program and system changes for ease of future support
• Manage assigned work to meet deadlines multitask priorities as set by senior staff
• Provide supervisor/project manager with status updates on progress and issues
• Communicate effectively within the team
