Job Description
The Golden Hills School Division invites applicationsfor a full time ( 1.0 FTE ) Interim teacher at cole Brentwood Elementary School in Strathmore AB for the 202 5/2026 school year . The teaching assignment is for the Strive Classroom. Strive is a class of students with a range of learning needs .
The successful candidate will demonstrate skilled ability in:
- Supporting students with diverse needs
- Developing ILPS and BSPs
- Providing direction and support to Educational Assistants
- Collaborating with internal and external team members
- Understanding of mental health behavioural and educational supports
- Communicating and collaborating with families
The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong 21stcentury teaching skills including learning design that ensures high student engagement critical thinking skills inquiry and the use of technology as a learning tool.
