About The Role
Work in the warm tropical north supporting content makers as they tell the stories of Australia.
Join a local team of experienced technologists and work in a diverse and complex technical environment with opportunity to learn and develop with the support of a Senior Technologist. Collaborate with national support teams to provide vital support to content makers in Darwin and regional NT locations.
Reporting to the local Technology Services Manager you will deliver high quality support to ABC users and programs while ensuring content continuity. You will also assist with project installations commissioning and supporting new and upcoming systems and technical equipment.
You will work with a diverse array of technology systems including video and audio production IP networking Videa and Audio over IP desktop and server computing satellite and radio frequency equipment.

About You
You have several years experience in a technical role with good communication skillsa strong client focus and a passion for technology. You come from a background in Broadcast Technology Telecommunications ICT or related technical vocation.
Youre a quick learner and are eager to apply your skills to varied tasks. Youre a team player and enjoy learning new and emerging technologies.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate capability in technical support functions including troubleshooting fault resolution maintenance upgrades installation and operations. The role also requires good organisation and problemsolving skills with the natural ability to manage priorities to complete tasks before deadlines.

About ABC Product & Technology:
The Product & Technology (P&T) division is responsible for delivering the technology and services that enable the ABC to fulfil its creative strategic and business goals. The scope of activities and responsibilities of the P&T division range from keeping ABC programs and services onair and online to delivering on key projects as well as assisting in setting the technology strategy and architecture for the ABC.
