    Start Date: As soon as position is filled
    Schedule: 6.5 hours per day

    About the Role

    St. Thomas More School is hiring a Preschool Lead Teacher for our 3yearold classroom. Were looking for someone who brings structure warmth and faith to a classroom of joyful curious and growing learners. This role is ideal for an early childhood educator who views teaching as a ministry and has the experience to lead a classroom with confidence purpose and love.

    Qualifications

    • AA degree required; BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

    • Experience planning and leading activities for 35yearolds

    • Strong understanding of child development and early learning benchmarks

    • Ability to create and maintain a safe structured and loving classroom

    • Skilled in communicating with young children parents and colleagues

    • Highly organized dependable and able to take initiative

    Expectations

    • Lead and manage the 3yearold classroom and daily routines

    • Model and promote the Catholic identity and mission of the school

    • Foster a positive inclusive classroom environment

    • Work collaboratively with aides other early learning teachers and administration

    • Maintain open communication with families about student growth

    • Be an active member of the St. Thomas More staff community

    Salary

    $19$20/hour

    Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
