We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead our companys total rewards strategy. This role is responsible for designing implementing managing and administering competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract retain and motivate employees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset deep expertise in compensation structures and a thorough understanding of benefits administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design develop and manage compensation and benefits programs aligned with business goals and market competitiveness Oversee relationships with benefits providers and negotiate contracts to optimize cost efficiency and employee value Conduct salary and benefits benchmarking and market analyses to ensure a competitive total rewards strategy Lead annual compensation and benefits reviews including merit increases bonuses and incentive programs Maintain and update job descriptions and salary structures in alignment with organizational changes Collaborate with HR and leadership to adjust compensation packages based on business needs and employee performance Ensure compliance with all applicable federal state and local laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits Develop and implement communication strategies to improve employee understanding and engagement with total rewards offerings Support the HR team in areas such as job classification workforce planning and organizational development
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Accounting Finance or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits management Indepth knowledge of compensation strategy job evaluation and benefits administration Proficiency in HRIS and compensation tools for data analysis and reporting Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities Solid understanding of federal and state labor laws and compliance standards Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to employees and leadership Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certification is a plus Companysponsored continuing education may be required Travel is primarily local during the business day; some outofarea or overnight travel may be necessary
