We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer to join our team on a critical program. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in cloud infrastructure system administration and network engineering with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. This role is responsible for managing cloud environments driving infrastructure automation and supporting the migration of workloads to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support production applications hosted in cloud environments (primarily Azure).
- Design and implement automated deployment of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Lead efforts to migrate applications and workloads from onpremises data centers to the cloud.
- Collaborate with DevOps security and engineering teams to ensure secure scalable and resilient infrastructure.
- Monitor cloud performance troubleshoot issues and optimize for cost and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in IT Systems Infrastructure and Networking.
- 5 years of experience in Azure cloud administration including deployment monitoring and management of Azure resources.
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Managing cloudbased production applications.
- Automating infrastructure deployment using tools such as Terraform ARM templates or Bicep.
- Executing successful cloud migration strategies from legacy or onprem environments.
- Managing cloudbased production applications.
Desired Skills & Certifications:
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification or equivalent experience managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong Linux system administration skills.
- Solid background in network engineering including VPNs firewalls routing and load balancing in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies and tools (e.g. Azure Cost Management FinOps practices).
Compensation: $115000.00 $135000.00 per year
