Job Description

Position Summary:

The Account Development Manager is responsible for selling servicing and retaining customers within a named customer list focusing primarily on uplift sales of managed services managed cybersecurity services professional services and products for existing AccountabilIT customers. A consultative sales approach is essential as the Account Development Manager must possess the necessary skills to identify customer needs build trust and ultimately fulfill those needs with the provision of AccountabilIT services. This function is critical to the business growth of AccountabilIT. This is a hybrid office/remote position in Scottsdale. This is also a commissionable position

In this role extensive written and verbal communication is required both with customers and AccountabilITs Sales and Operations organizations. The ideal candidate must be an excellent team player capable of working effectively in a leadership role an assisting role or as an individual contributor. Travel may be required to support sales pursuits regionally or throughout North America. This position is has a commission plan in addition to salary.

The secondary focus of this position is to maintain effective customer relationships with key decisionmakers and influencers in order to understand their business needs upsell services and products contain compression/churn increase brand awareness and drive growth. Once a company becomes a customer the Account Development Managers primary objective is to ensure exceptional service delivery meeting not only the contract requirements but also the expectations of the key customer contact.

Essential Functions:

  • Primary responsibility is to meet or exceed assigned sales and delivery objectives.
  • Account Management:
  • Ensure AccountabilIT is meeting all contractual obligations.
  • Maintain a highly satisfied relationship with the primary customer contact and AccountabilIT.
  • Gain a detailed understanding of the customers business objectives and IT Department goals to develop a strategic plan for increasing AccountabilITs wallet share.
  • Develop and maintain a current account plan for strategic clients detailing their business and IT objectives key relationships current business with the client and plans to grow the business within the account.
  • Attend regularly scheduled customer account status meetings including weekly monthly quarterly and annual reviews.

Sales:

  • Reinforce the AccountabilIT value proposition to key decisionmakers within the account.
  • Develop document and execute account penetration strategies.
  • Present to and build relationships at the C VP and Director levels.
  • Coordinate sales engineers and technical architects support of different pursuits by providing guidance strategy and prioritization.
  • Develop proposals and solution documentation to augment architects and sales support efforts as needed.
  • Ensure timely entry of all account contact and opportunity data into CRM.
  • Report sales activities pipeline and forecasts via CRM.
  • Effect a clean and efficient transition of new customers to the delivery organization.

General:

  • Accurately and consistently utilize Autotask and other company toolsets.
  • Complete all required paperwork sales forms and reporting documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high level of industry organization product and service knowledge and effectively communicate this knowledge to customers and prospects.
  • Develop longterm strategic and executivelevel relationships.
  • Collaborate with others to design and develop advanced technology solutions for clients.
  • Continually learn and develop proficiency in new technologies and selling points including enhancing expertise in AccountabilITs products and solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree OR 4 years of professional work experience
  • 5 years of IT sales experience

Other Qualifications:

  • Must have knowledge of the Information Technology and Cybersecurity fields
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works with minimal supervision in progressing opportunities from new and existing clients
  • Sales Training/Seminars/Certification preferred
