The Account Development Manager is responsible for selling servicing and retaining customers within a named customer list focusing primarily on uplift sales of managed services managed cybersecurity services professional services and products for existing AccountabilIT customers. A consultative sales approach is essential as the Account Development Manager must possess the necessary skills to identify customer needs build trust and ultimately fulfill those needs with the provision of AccountabilIT services. This function is critical to the business growth of AccountabilIT. This is a hybrid office/remote position in Scottsdale. This is also a commissionable position
In this role extensive written and verbal communication is required both with customers and AccountabilITs Sales and Operations organizations. The ideal candidate must be an excellent team player capable of working effectively in a leadership role an assisting role or as an individual contributor. Travel may be required to support sales pursuits regionally or throughout North America. This position is has a commission plan in addition to salary.
The secondary focus of this position is to maintain effective customer relationships with key decisionmakers and influencers in order to understand their business needs upsell services and products contain compression/churn increase brand awareness and drive growth. Once a company becomes a customer the Account Development Managers primary objective is to ensure exceptional service delivery meeting not only the contract requirements but also the expectations of the key customer contact.
