Job Description
Position: Senior Design Associate
Location: Chicago IL
Salary: $78600/yr $96000/yr
Position Responsibilities:
Senior Design Associates for Chicago IL location. Provide consultation in the planning design and coordination of large complex projects. Assist project team in developing documentation through all phases of project. Independently makes decisions on significant architectural design problems and methods. Develop conceptual design under the direction of the project architect. Coordinate work with consultants and internal KSP team. Execute daily design and technical development of projects. Produce written team correspondence. Prepare presentation and design documents. Responsible for projects technical design and provides planning design and coordination consultation on large projects. Reviews or approves conceptual designs.Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Architecture degree must be professional degree in architecture from National Architectural Accrediting Board program (similar professional degrees from CACB programs or EESA verified may be accepted for foreign applicants) plus 3 years of experience in Architectural Design required. Required Skills: 3 years experience with: professional architecture firm AutoCAD Revit Rhino Bluebeam & Adobe Creative Suite in a professional environment; 1 year experience with: using Parametric modelling tools in a professional environment using 3D printers or Laser Cutters to develop architectural models. Registration with NCARB Architectural Experience Program required. Must submit cover letter resume and portfolio of work. Some telecommuting permitted within commutable distance.Required Experience:
