Job Description
The New Patient Coordinator is responsible for interacting with all new patients over the phone and in person to ensure they are scheduled in a timely manner with the appropriate care provider in Southwest Medical Group. This position will also act as the support for patients with Portal questions provide reminder phone calls to the new patients to ensure attendance at their first visit and ensure all appropriate paperwork is completed prior to the patients first appointment.
Regulatory/Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred.
Language Skills:
- Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong communication skills.
