Job Description
Reports to: Logistics Manager/Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Parts and Material Transportation:
- Transport automotive parts tools and materials between production areas and storage areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
- Material Handling and Equipment Use:
- Load and unload materials onto vehicles ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Inventory and Documentation:
- Verify part counts labels and quality during pickup and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of parts and materials movement in tracking systems.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with production teams warehouse staff and supervisors to prioritize tasks.
- Respond to urgent requests for parts and materials delivery as required.
- Support Production Goals:
- Assist with organizing and maintaining storage areas to ensure easy access to materials.
- Provide general support to production and logistics teams as needed including overtime shifts.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- License: Minimum of a G2 Drivers License (valid in Ontario).
- Driving Record: Clean drivers abstract with no major infractions.
- Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
- Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with overtime as needed.
