- Job Title: CNC Machinist Lathe & Mill
- Reports To: Machine Shop & Manufacturing Manager
- Classification: FullTime (40 hours per week)
- Compensation: $2025 per hour
- Location: OnSite Cleveland TX

Accountable for producing highquality parts using CNC machines including but not limited to lathes and milling machines. Responsibilities include loading parts operating machine controls setting offsets performing basic program edits deburring and inspecting finished components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate proficiency with precision measuring instruments including (but not limited to) calipers inside and outside micrometers depth gauges indicators and scales.
- Solid understanding of technical drawings and specifications with the ability to interpret geometric tolerances and dimensions.
- Familiarity with tooling and machine accessories including tool holders cutting tools boring bars fixtures and inserts.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- General knowledge of plant operations including equipment utilities buildings and grounds.
- Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication division geometry and algebra for accurate material fabrication calculations.
- 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to communicate in English
- High school diploma / GED
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection gloves steeltoed boots hard hat and flame retardant work clothes etc.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat dust noise vibration humidity).
- Preferences to Get Job
- Certified or experienced in operating forklifts and lifting devices preferred.
- CNC Certification and Course Completion preferred

- Interpreting technical drawings manuals and specifications to determine dimensions tolerances sequence of operations and setup requirements.
- Measuring and marking dimensions and reference points on materials or workpieces to guide subsequent machining processes.
- Identifying equipment malfunctions or outoftolerance machining and making necessary adjustments within machine capabilities to maintain production quality.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
