Summary:

As a Principal Systems Engineer Team Lead you play a pivotal role in developing and delivering highperformance solutions drawing on your established technical expertise. You are responsible for defining requirements designing systems leading integrations and ensuring successful implementation. In addition you will provide guidance and mentorship to peers and junior engineers coordinate collaborative efforts and support the development of engineering capabilities aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Develop system concepts and architectures by conducting indepth analysis within the broader system context.
  • Translate customer needs into detailed system and subsystem requirements leveraging prior experience in requirements development.
  • Lead and support system integration efforts ensuring hardware and software components operate cohesively.
  • Plan and manage test procedures to validate system performance under realworld conditions.
  • Document designs development processes and technical specifications to ensure clarity and traceability.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between engineering teams and customers addressing technical challenges and aligning expectations.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to drive product development offering guidance mentorship and coordination as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that contribute to engineering efficiency quality and team effectiveness.
  • Communicate project progress with management to ensure that deliverables meet design goals and timelines.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in requirements development system architecture and integration.
  • Proven technical and analytical skills with the ability to address complex engineering challenges independently.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle including mechanical and software aspects.
  • Familiarity with Defense design review cycles (SRR PDR CDR etc.).

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail to ensure project accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently take initiative and adapt to evolving needs.
  • Team collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional stakeholders and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Focus on continuous improvement contributing to process enhancements and longterm team success.
