Job Description

MultiVersity Housing Partners is looking for a FullTime Leasing Professional to join its growing Pittsburgh Portfolio (student and multifamily).

Are you looking to join a dynamic team that is going to change the way that Property Acquisition and Management is performed in the Apartment and Student Housing industry Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the industry If so we have an opportunity for you. *Must live in Pittsburgh or willing to relocate to Pittsburgh. Traveling to several different sites will be a requirement.*

Major responsibilities consist of:

1)Leasing

potential residents

calls and persuade potential residents to visit the property

and lease apartments by building value into what the Company offers

close on showings

specials and promotions

and resolve questions/concerns in a timely manner

leads

goals

leases

applicants

criminal background checks on prospective residents

credit checks on guarantors

execute the lease

lease packages and lease renewal packages

2)Marketing

new marketing avenues

marketing concepts to the Property Manager

implement approved marketing techniques/programs

create price sheets

and organize resident events and parties

3.)Tenant Experience

existing residents

incoming calls

resident needs wants and fit with an appropriate unit/roommate

followup and follow through on resident needs

service requests

on trash fires housekeeping roommate issues pet registration etc.

rapport with residents

hospitality and a sense of belonging in a professional atmosphere

guest cards and send thankyou notes

3)General Clerical

information

correspondence

information

mailings

4)Accurate Reporting

bills into a spreadsheet

back residents for overages

checks and monies owed

ledgers and adjust rent as needed

5)Physical Plant

grounds

with annual move out/movein in August

with the inspection of units as needed

6)Projects

complete projects as directed by the Leasing Manager or Property Manager

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

Minimum:

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Participation in Fair Housing classes and practice of acquired information

EXPERIENCE

Minimum:

One (1) year of customer service sales or community experience.

Preferred:

Residential Assistant experience; Property Management leasing experience; and proven sales or restaurant experience. Related coursework is also preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Minimum:

oAbility to gain an understanding of Fair Housing and appropriately transfer such knowledge to the role

oAbility to keep the areas around the office and amenity areas free of trash and other debris

oAbility to read general correspondence in the English language

oMath skills including working with decimals multiplication fractions and division

oAbility to read ledgers

Preferred:

Prior Realpage software experience is a plus

Entrepreneurial creativity

An understanding of marketing techniques

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Ability to use hands and fingers

Ability to think concentrate and communicate

Ability to speak see and hear

Ability to reach bend stoop push and pull

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Ability to walk and climb stairs

WORK ENVIRONMENT(List standard conditions and any applicable hazards.)

The work is conducted in a temperature controlled office environment with moderate noise levels. However outside marketing may constitute up to 20% of this employees time.
