Meeting Street is currently looking for a Toddler Teacher in our Early Learning Center working 40 hours weekly.


Duties:

  • Create and implement classroom curriculum that promotes active learning through a variety of developmentally appropriate experiences and can be individualized adapted and modified for all students.
  • Partner with each family to design and implement appropriate goals for their child considerate of their daily routines parenting style and expectations background culture and other individual needs.
  • Implement appropriate classroom behavior management by demonstrating positive guidance praise giving sensory breaks and input along with redirection and modeling conflict resolution.
  • Facilitate interactions among children to create opportunities for social/emotional growth and opportunities to develop individual ageappropriate selfhelp skills.
  • Monitor the developmental progress of each child through ongoing assessment and data collection using Teaching Strategies Gold.
  • Supervise mentor and coach classroom Teacher Assistants.
  • Communicate and partner with the students family daily regarding their childs activities and progress verbally at dropoff and pickup throughout the day using the Brightwheel app and by zoom email and phone to enhance the parent/school partnership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in either Early Childhood Education or related field with experience working with infants/toddler preferred.
  • A valid CPR and First Aid training/certification.
