Schedule: 6.5 hours per day

About the Role

St. Thomas More School seeks a nurturing enthusiastic and competent Preschool Assistant who feels called to the ministry of early childhood education in a Catholic school setting. This position supports our youngest learnershelping them feel safe seen and supported as they begin their school experience rooted in faith and love.

Qualifications

AA Degree preferred or related field
Experience working with and assisting children at various ages or grade levels
Ability to manage individual small group or class activities
Knowledge of developmental growth in children to support student progress
Highly organized and follows directions

Expectations

Promote Catholic identity through presence actions and support of mission
Commit to building an inclusive and diverse learning environment
Provide for a safe and optimal space for early learning
Work well as a collaborative team member
Participate actively as a member of the St. Thomas More staff community

Salary

$18$20

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
