This position is accountable for the total P&L responsibility of multiple sales territories and provides leadership direction and development of all outside sales within the Area markets through the Companys direct and distribution model. The major overall responsibility is to maximize sales and profits within the Area while managing the human resources to ensure adequate supply of competent personnel to fill all current and anticipated needs.
Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys staff employees and business relationships.
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in a businessrelated field
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Valid drivers license
Proven track record of sales success
At least 35 years of salesrelated experience
Demonstrated ability to work with word documents and spreadsheets
Demonstrated high level of both verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations and financial ratios relative to a P&L
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
Demonstrated ability to physically demonstrate paint and associated products by utilizing various product delivery systems such as spray guns and other related equipment.
Preferred:
Sales experience in automotive coatings or related field
Demonstrated ability to manage direct reports
