ABOUT THE ROLE
Power Factors is looking for an experienced and passionate software developer to join our group and be part of a talented colleagues building the best platform to manage Clean Energy assets in the industry. From our clients IoTs we are collecting millions of data points cleaning this data detecting occurring issues identifying leading indicators to predict future issues and adding a full advanced analytic capability on top of this rich highvalue dataset. In addition to issue detection and analytics our platform adds the toolsets needed to take analytic insights into action such as case management and work order management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design build and maintain robust scalable software solutions using Go.
- Improve and evolve existing systems through thoughtful analysis and clean code practices.
- Collaborate closely with a passionate development team to solve meaningful technical challenges in the ingestion area of our product.
- Promote software craftsmanship continuous learning and innovation.
- Explore and contribute to initiatives involving AI automation and nextgeneration technologies.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- Solid experience developing productiongrade applications in Go.
- Proficient with Gitand comfortable working with modern development workflows.
- 5 years of professional software development experience.
- A growthoriented mindset with a passion for building highquality software.
- A genuine interest in learning and applying emerging AI technologies.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of SQL databasesand message brokers(Kafka is a plus).
- Experience in Web and API development(REST/gRPC).
- Knowledge of Containers and Kubernetes.
- Enthusiasm for experimenting with LLMs vector search or ML pipelines.
