About the opportunity
The RegTech Segment at N26 creates a secure compliant by design environment where seamless access to essential IT assets empowers individuals and teams to innovate and achieve their highest impact with confidence and minimal risk.
The System Solutions team is responsible for configuring managing and maintaining 3rd party SaaS applications inventory at N26.
As a Software Quality Engineer you will work closely with our Security teams Product and Tech teams and other departments. Seamless cooperation between these teams is essential and supported on all levels.
In this role you will:
Advocate the quality culture in crossfunctional teams and make sure that good testing practices are present & followed
Design develop and maintain test cases and other test documentation for our internally developed applications and integrations
Establish testing as an integral part of the development process within crossfunctional teams
Coach engineers on testing practices and ensure the whole team is responsible for quality
Develop maintainable automated checks in collaboration with other engineering disciplines
Proactively suggest improvements to the quality of our tools services and products
Use exploratory testing techniques to discover and prevent issues
Report bugs and follow up on their resolution
What you need to be successful:
At least 3 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality engineering
You view quality holistically and ensure the consistent delivery of quality products by your team
You have proven experience implementing testing strategies in fastpaced agile environments
Solid coding background in Java Kotlin JavaScript or similar
Clean code and SOLID design principles are in the root of your software craftmanship
You build and maintain test automation frameworks based on industry leading tools like: Appium RestAssured Gatling Cypress...
You know how to measure quality and gather metrics to demonstrate continuous improvement
You are an excellent debugger with strong analytical skills
You have professional English speaking proficiency

Experience testing SaaS applications
