Job Description
Business Analyst/Specialist Fed Mall/STORES Program
Location: Tysons Corner (McLean VA) or Dayton OH
Job Type: Fulltime
Position Summary: Global C2 Integration Technologies (GC2IT) is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst/Specialist to support the FedMall/STORES program. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Program Management Office (PMO) and a crossfunctional team of Software Engineers Requirement Analysts Project Managers Solutions Architects and Cybersecurity professionals. The selected candidate will help translate business needs into actionable requirements and drive improvements in system functionality and business processes across the FedMall platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of the programs mission processes and supporting architecture.
- Analyze and document business requirements user stories and change requests in Jira.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities for process improvement within FedMall.
- Function as a liaison between the PMO stakeholders UI/UX designers developers and testers.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new features and enhancements to the FedMall/STORES system.
- Coordinate change management break/fix resolutions system builds testing and documentation.
- Convert user feedback into detailed functional and technical requirements.
- Participate in Agile development sprints and related engineering activities.
- Execute technical tasks such as application and database support configuration and basic system administration.
- Provide helpdesk support to FedMall/STORES users and document service request outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis requirements gathering or systems support.
- Experience working in Agile and fastpaced software development environments.
- Familiarity with basic cloud concepts and technical documentation practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate certification.
- CompTIA Security or DOD 8570 Level II certification (e.g. CISSP SANS).
- Experience supporting DoD programs or working within the Federal government space.
- Working knowledge of Jira and experience documenting system changes or enhancements.
Clearance Requirement: Must be clearable for DoD Public Trust or higher.
This position requires both a background check and drug screening.
Physical Demands: While performing duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit talk hear and use hands for typing and computer work. May occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The work environment is primarily a moderatenoise office setting. Occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
