Qualifications for Position:
- Because this is a position seeking help in a variety of art disciplines background in some the following studio classes are helpful: Drawing 2D and 3D foundations the photography and design digital classes.
- Knowledge of some computer hardware and software.
- Ability to hang and install artwork (training is part of this task).
- Ability to clean apply paint and change light bulbs in the department gallery.
- Ability to keep a schedule and complete tasks on time.
- Responsible problem solver because this job requires a high degree of responsibility in maintaining expensive equipment as well as anticipation of problems and finding solutions to problems.
Expected Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning: building and equipment.
- Organizing and maintaining studio space.
- Assist faculty set up for demonstrations lectures and classes (ie. printing out photographs designing posters and departmentrelated items etc.)
Resume skills development (NACE Competencies required by employers) to be developed
