Overview
Green Bay Dressed Beef Processing an American Foods Group company has an opportunity for aPurchasing Coordinatorat our East River plantin Green Bay WI.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the purchasing activities of the company
- Analyze the needs of the organization and determine the goods or services needed
- Research potential vendors and compare their products prices and services
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers
- Place purchase orders and ensure that orders are delivered on time
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
- Review and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and determine when to place orders for new supplies
- Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and government regulations
- Resolve issues and discrepancies with orders and invoices
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and cost analyses to management

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of experience in related field
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively liaise with sales and production teams.
- Good analytical and accounting skills.
- Proficiency in computer use.
- Ability to Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong decisionmaking capabilities under pressure.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
