Job Description
Fill and package containers in accordance with specified procedures & standards. These duties are to be performed in accordance with all safety rules including the wearing of proper Personal Protective Equipment which includes steel toed staticdissipating shoes appropriate eye protection and full FR clothing when working in the paint plant.

1st Shift: Monday Friday 7:00am 3:30pm
This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Companys applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees operating heavy machinery and access to proprietary information raw materials finished merchandise and/or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys staff employees and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Review shop order to verify that all the proper materials are being used. Check spec sheet for special instructions and proper package markings.
- Operate filling equipment assuring that proper fill weights and machine speeds are maintained.
- Inspect filled containers for proper date code lid or cap closure and proper label placement.
- Pack containers in proper boxes and pack on skids attaching skid tags and other identifying information.
- Complete production reports and material deviation forms for each order.
- Advise Supervisor or Quality Control of any problems with equipment or product not meeting specifications.
- Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
- Count remaining inventory of packaging materials at the end of production run prior to having them put in racks.
- Follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Follow all quality standards and safety rules.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience operating packaging equipment such as robotics filling machines case packers or labelers etc.
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit) pallet jacks hand trucks order pickers vacuhoists drum dollies conveyor belts etc.)
