ING Hubs Poland is hiring!
We are looking for you if you:
Have experience with Oracle DB Administration:
architecture (oracles DB architecture memory structures storage processes and networking)
pluggable databases (PDBs) and multitenancy (managing container databases CBDs and pluggable databases PDBs)
oracle RAC (understanding multinode database clustering for high availability)
backup & recovery (RMAN data pump backup strategies)
performance tuning
security & user management
high availability & disaster recovery (data guard failover / switchover).
Knowledge of (Oracle) Cloud Infrastructure and the following IaaS/PaaS services:
Load Balancers (LBaaS)
Compute (Oracle Linux Windows)
Oracle Exadata Service on Dedicated Infra and Oracle Autonomous database
Storage
Monitoring
Disaster recovery (FSDR).
Infrastructure knowledge of Oracle databases
Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
English level B2/C1
Youll get extra points for:
working experience with ITIL processes (change incident and problem management) and relevant tooling
understanding Agile Way of Working
scripting interest in learning programming language: Python Go
interest in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodology IT security and compliance
effective communication both written and verbal to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Your responsibilities:
monitor system performance uptime and alerting
conducting reliability interviews with Asset Owners regarding improving reliability of particular products services
implement solutions to improve system reliability reduce latency and increase overall performance
automate repetitive tasks like deployment scaling and failover handling.

We are a Team of Infra admins who got tired of manual work and decided to move to Infra as a Code approach. We want to prevent not repair and make our system Reliable. Taking best approach from Google and Microsoft we want to create Culture of SRE Engineering with focus on Design Run Enable Rapid Response Educate and Review. Are you up for the challenge
