About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experiencedHSE Training Manager to join our wellestablished Sime Industrial Group Safety branch. This is a12 Months Fixed Termopportunity based out of ourAcacia Ridge QLD office.

Reporting to the Executive Manager Systems Risks Assurance and Training the primary responsibility of this role will be to lead the development design and implementation of frameworks and programs to build and improve HSE training and capability across Sime Industrial.

As an experienced HSE Training Manager you will develop modern contextrelevant safety leadership and foundational HSE programs ensuring consistent delivery through trainer upskilling and tracking key KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will involve the following key duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and rollout of safety leadership and core HSE training programs across Sime Industrial in consultation with Safety leadership.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and audits to ensure training quality sufficiency and alignment with operational requirements.
  • Oversee the design delivery and governance of safety and compliance training including eLearning and blended learning approaches.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to ensure training is roleappropriate culturally relevant and aligned with organisational goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement of training systems content and delivery methods.
  • Travel to multiple sites within the organisation once a quarter

Essential requirements

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following knowledge skills and attributes:

  • Extensive experience (7 years) in delivering and facilitating training for large audiences with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to design and implement impactful training programs and drive change in complex environments.
  • Strong communication coaching and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated capability in leading workforce development promoting wellbeing and fostering inclusive and safetyfocused cultures.
  • Ability to quickly understand and apply WHS requirements across diverse regional contexts.
  • Experience working in a multinational organisation with operations across multiple geographic locations.
