Plano TX Hybrid Option
Toyota Connected is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Mobility team. On this team you will solve complex problems and work alongside talented Data Engineers Software Engineers Agile Delivery Leads and Technical Product Owners who have a passion for driving innovation in mobility safety and convenience services. We love people who think big and like to get their hands dirty to help us build exciting initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to full software development life cycle
- Write maintainable extensible tested code while complying with coding standards
- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
- Continuously integrate and deliver software components into a fully functional software system
- Facilitate end to end user testing with customers
- Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing systems
- Work closely with product owners to shape and deliver features to customers
Required Qualifications:
- Experience coding using Java programming language
- Basic knowledge in applying current best practices and principles in software development
- Ability to learn and apply CI/CD containerization and related concepts
- Ability to work well in a team oriented agile software engineering environment
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies programming practices patterns and methods
- Demonstrates problemsolving troubleshooting decision making skills
- Solutionsoriented with an ability to keep an open mind while finding agreeable solutions
- Organized and detailoriented
- Ability to develop healthy working relationships and collaborate with peers and leaders
- Exhibits integrity and high standards in work quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Values diversity and differences amongst individuals in interactions
