Join Collins Aerospace as an entry level Engineering Documentation Support to assist the Engineering function under the Power and Controls organization. In this role you will work collaboratively with other Engineering disciplines Programs Production Quality and Supply Chain to develop an integrated execution plan and satisfy documentation requirements across applicable operating conditions.

This position will be at our Aguadilla PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

This role is categorized as hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.

What YOU will do:

• Ensure outgoing documentation has all classification and compliance paperwork in folders. Keep an accurate log of all transmittals and receipts.
• Track documentation submittal dates to customers as well as committing closure dates from customer to ensure timely approval of all document submittals to the customer.
• Manage programs metrics to ensure accurate and timely updates to internal and external customers.
• Generate redefine and update engineering documentation templates per Standard work and review to ensure document quality is acceptable to customers (correct pagination document sections callouts and figure references and free of typographical errors).
• Host weekly meets for Systems Rig Lab coordination.
• Establish new document tracking systems as needed.
• Support compilation of Program Chiefs weekly/monthly financial presentations.

Qualifications you must have:

• Typically requires a university degree unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word Power Point and Excel
• Technical writing experience
• Ability to read and understand technical processes
• Understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing process
• Practice experience working with the shared support of engineering operations records and drafting
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience/knowledge in SAP TEAMCENTER PLM Configuration Management / Data Management SharePoint
