Job Description

Performs a variety of quality control tests/inspections on products materials components parts etc. at various stages of the production process or after customer return to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
- Completes performance testing such as multipass fatigue pressure drop etc.
- Performs media management which includes continuous media improvement product traceability media grading and process improvement.
- Records statistical data. Analyzes data and writes summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards.
- Performs resolution activities for nonconforming parts which include inspecting incoming parts writing reports that indicate defects found conducting meetings and monitoring hold activity logs etc.
- Investigates customer complaints and returns.
- Provides product failure analysis support.
- Works with customer service department and the customer to resolve concerns.
- Coordinates internal auditing process consisting of scheduling audits assigning auditors and following up on audit activity.
- Calibrates gauges and test equipment as required by calibration schedules.
- Develops and participates in problem prevention planning to communicate evaluate and prevent/resolve quality problems.
- Recommends modifications to existing or suggests new standards methods and procedures.
- Assists in establishing technical objectives corrective action planning and problem resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent technical experience and 2 years relevant technical
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years Aerospace Industry Experience
- LEAN manufacturing knowledge and training
- Strong computer skillsMicrosoft Office
- Able to communicate effectively
