Performing compliance checks on purchase requisitions & analyzing
completeness of RFQ packages and technical specifications
Purchase order preparation issuance and transmission
Preparation of RFQ packages forwarding and follow up answering supplier
questions and advising on RFQ response required; consolidation of RFQ responses
Assist in or recommend suppliers based on both price and nonprice factors
Follows up on deliveries handling the transportations process
Builds and updates material catalogs in ERP system
Answering suppliers and customers requests
Calling suppliers for various confirmations
Answering AP department requests related to PO and invoice matching
Be focal point and facilitate resolution on helpdesk
Use SAP Ariba Axapta tools to process Purchase requests
Call suppliers to confirm bank details
Tuesdays and Wednesday work from the Bucharest office rest are WFA in
Romania
Collaborates internally within the company with members of the same team or of other teams in order to accomplish the allocated tasks.
Collaborates outside the company with client representatives within the power of authority limits allocated by the direct manager.
Ensures that the process activities are carriedout in accordance with the solution cooperated with the customer in the Design and Transition phase.
Ensures that the performance objectives (critical metrics) / process delivery time (SLAs) set under the contract are fulfilled.
Carries out transformation initiatives and projects to deliver financial and efficiency benefits to customer in accordance with the contractual clauses concluded with the client.
Ensures that the team members have all the operational resources and necessary equipment (upon completion of LTO).
Presents the performance indicators in the operational review meetings analyzes data & trends in the process continuously implements process improvement methodologies based on Lean Six Sigma.
Ensures that all team members are aware of the contractual performance indicators (KPIs)/delivery time (SLAs) and of the level of the encouraged performance output.
Conducts team huddles to communicate the information regarding to the process priorities.
Coordinates and ensures the creation of the Standard Operating Procedures for the processes handled updates and validates them before sending them to the customer for sign off ensuring that they are accurate comprehensive and explained in a logical manner tailored to the process needs.
Optimally finalizing of the training plan related to the role hold and tasks.
Developing implementation activities of new systems/applicable tools to the processes in scope
Monitors the team performance daily and ensures that individual and team objectives are met while aligning with the established standards
Provides feedback on the performance and the process activity results to team members identifies areas to improve the knowledge process and plans relevant training sessions
Participates in the selection of team members for different roles by assessing their process experience/ knowledge.
Carries out the onboarding/offboarding activities for the team members within the customers system.
Handles 1on1s performance issues HR tickets appraisals
Participates to different projects initiatives within Genpact.
Minimum qualifications
Procurement SAP experience
Located in Bucharest willing to come to the office as per RTO agreement/needs/client visits
Intermediate Excel skills
SAP knowledge of transactions/reporting
C1 English Spanish/French
Good feedback/VOC received from colleagues/client
Good E2E S2P process understanding
Prioritization and time management skills
Excellent communication skills
People oriented
Solution oriented flexible mindset fast in adapting to new changes/requirements
Knowledge about the manufacturing industry
