Job Description
This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and should be used for providing valuable educational experiences for the Intern. It is to give the Intern an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions are applied in actual work setting. Under general supervision the Intern performs work as assigned by the department.

This position is intended for a Senior level student that meets the minimum of 2 years of experience using Revit. Required to be considered.
Pay range for this position will be: $20.00 $31.00/hr depending on experience and education.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need. The Intern receives assignments from supervising staff. The Manager reviews the Interns work occasionally. The supervisor reviews each assignment as it is completed. The Intern is expected to meet rigid and challenging deadlines work in harmony with other people take direction on each assignment and give full attention to detail. Independence in working tact and diplomacy are required. Sound judgment of Church doctrine history organization policy and protocol are also expected.

- Producing construction documents that communicate design intent through the development of sketches plans sections elevations details schedules and renderings
- Working on projects that support the functions of 66 existing and historic buildings totaling over 9.6 million square feet along the Wasatch Front
- Verifying conditions for new projects and maintaining a library of asbuilt Revit models
- Taking responsibility for assignments that require initiative and working with little to moderate supervision

Qualifications
Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
Your background and qualifications include
- You are a current student or have graduated within the last 12 months with a Bachelors or Associates degree in drafting construction architecture interior design engineering or related field
- Previous work experience in architecture or drafting
- 2 years of experience using Revit required
- Experience using AutoCAD or Bluebeam preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication
- A drive to be creative curious and to understand how things are built
