JOB PURPOSE:Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Responsible for the oversight execution and monitoring of financial transactions processes and financial statement analysis including various general ledger account financial statement reporting including nonstandard and/or ad hoc for both internal and external analyze and correct irregularities and reconciling items in system output results and/or for monthly and yearend close related financial systems to obtain and analyze complex financial and track all capital acquisitions and depreciation and implement solutions to complex accounting problems by indepth evaluation and technical input in the formulation and execution of financial plan and implement policies techniques and methods in accordance with ESET policies accepted business practices and Generally Accepted Accounting evaluate and implement work methods and transaction documentation for efficiencies making recommendations for in end user acceptance testing of new system functionality prior to and decides accounting treatment for capital analytical budgeting and forecasting support for four technology groups Information Technology ERP Business Applications and Project Management backup supervisory support and coordination for month end quarter end and year end reconciliations for all ESET bank and coordinate the work of colleagues in accordance with superiors instructions be responsible for the performance of the tasks entrusted to it in accordance with established procedures and processes and prioritize tasks of colleagues in order to meet established objectives and achieve required results.KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS KNOWLEDGE and QUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree in Business Administration Accounting Finance or related field and a minimum of 4 years of related professionallevel experience or the equivalent combination of education and knowledge of and experience in interpreting and applying financial policies and procedures including the use of generally accepted financial principles and knowledge of and experience in performing financial functions including: preparation and posting of journal entries balance sheet reconciliations financial statement analysis financial report preparation and variance experience in the development and maintenance of complex financial spreadsheets and databases containing advanced functions and significant experience in utilizing commercial and/or institutional financial applying skills to independently research interpret analyze compile and present data and ability to independently devise new approaches perform assignments and make decisions with high consequence of error with limited direction from in advanced decision making problemsolving and analytical skills to independently solve complex issues requiring mature judgment discretion and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively prepare and deliver financial compliance briefings documentation reports and provide expert financial advice to Laboratory personnel and/or other external organizations and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain negotiate persuade and build consensus among diverse ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with all levels of personnel both internal and external to the Laboratory.COMPETENCIESProven ability to identify and drive process and system analytical and technical skills are required including advanced Excel spreadsheet interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing to all levels within the analytical thinker who also understands the big picture and can identify and proactively act on issues before they become to work interdepartmentally towards a common organization skills with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines or as a team member.Primary location
