Our esteemed client an established MNC is searching for a Purchaser:
Job Responsibilities
- Source and procure construction equipment spare parts and materials according to company requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors including pricing delivery schedules and payment terms.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders track delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities including supplier information pricing and lead times.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Evaluate supplier performance and build longterm relationships with key vendors.
- Stay updated on market trends new products and alternative suppliers to support cost efficiency.
- Handle any issues related to delivery delays product quality or supplier noncompliance.
Job Requirements:
- Able to work independently in a fastpaced environment with attention to detail.
- Minimum 23 years of relevant purchasing experience preferably in equipment machinery or industrial sectors.
- Good knowledge of procurement procedures inventory control and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation communication and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word) and experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 3500 VB
- Working Location: Tuas (Company Pick Up Provided)
- Working Hours: 5 days Monday Friday (8am 5:30pm)
