We are seeking a Senior Analyst to help build and manage our Unify platform (our user interface for our client team and Walmart partners). As part of this role you will develop an understanding for our clients unique business needs then work with a team to build manage and optimize our solutions around the problems our partners are trying to solve. Following NPD & IRIs merger in 2022 you will also work on integrating Food/Consumables & Gen Merch datasets & methodologies to create one seamless solution for our Walmart.
What will you be doing
The Media & Analytics Director for Italy at Circana is a commercial role focused on leading the commercial efforts for Media & Analytics solutions within the Italian market within the CPG Industry. This position is tasked with driving the revenue growth of Circanas Media & Analytics solutions enhancing relationships with Italian and ensuring the successful delivery and management of Media & Analytics programs in the country. . The successful candidate will report to the Head of EMEA Media & Analytics for CPG Industry and will collaborate with the Italian organization and other key stakeholders to maximize revenue opportunities and solidify the companys market presence in Italy.
Job Responsibilities
- Growth and Client Expansion: Growth and Client Expansion: Spearhead the renewal and expansion of Media & Analytics solutions within Italy.
- Revenue Development: generate new opportunities through prospect clients leveraging Circana and own client network.
- Revenue Generation: Identify and close opportunities to crosssell and upsell Media & Analytics solutions to existing clients thereby enhancing the revenue stream within the market.
- Financial Performance management: Manage financial performance through the use of our CRM and pipeline management reports. Ensure complete and accurate views of the Media & Analytics commercial activity and plan.
- Client Relationship Management: Conduct comprehensive reviews of Media & Analytics programs to identify and implement process improvements ensuring client satisfaction and fostering longterm partnerships.
- Program Management: Manage the commercial aspects and delivery of Media & Analytics programs for key Italian clients aligning with their needs and Circanas standards.
Strategic Account Management
- Client Strategy Development: Work in tandem with the regional leadership and local market teams to devise strategies that meet Italian clients objectives and strengthen Circanas position in the market.
- Opportunity Identification: Utilize insights from the markets to uncover and pursue new business opportunities expanding engagement across various client teams within Italy.
- RFP Leadership: Direct Circanas responses to RFPs specific to the Italian market with the goal of securing and broadening client business across additional brands.
Consultative Selling
- Needs Assessment: Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their business needs and challenges positioning Circanas solutions as effective responses.
- Solution Framing: Develop customized proposals that resonate with the objectives of Italian clients showcasing a deep understanding of their business environment and the value of Circanas solutions both in Media and Revenue Management
- Client Advocacy: Serve as a bridge between clients and internal teams (Product and Delivery) to ensure that client feedback informs product development and service improvement efforts.
Industry Expertise
- Media competencies: Own experience in story telling based on data analysis media modelling and/or MediaLift takeout experience is key
- Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on industry trends challenges and opportunities within the Italian market leveraging this knowledge in strategic planning and client interactions.
- Competitive Strategy: Assess competitor actions and market dynamics in Italy to refine Circanas offerings ensuring competitiveness in services and client engagements.
- Educational Initiatives: Lead and engage in workshops and seminars aimed at enhancing industry knowledge among the team promoting a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.
Requirements
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams across geographic and functional boundaries to achieve business objectives.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data interpret client needs and develop strategies that align with both client and company goals.
- Effective Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills capable of effectively negotiating and persuading clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Industry Knowledge: Indepth knowledge of the media and analytics landscape in Italy or in other markets in Europe with a proven track record of fostering growth and client satisfaction.
- Language: mother tongue in Italian very fluent in English.
